Flourishing starts here...

Hi SF fam,

Joy comes from Him - not from circumstances, achievements, or having it all together.

John 15 has been resting on my heart lately. Jesus reminds us that joy is the fruit of abiding. When we remain in Him, when we stay connected to the Vine, joy isn’t something we have to chase or manufacture - it flows.

I love how the AMP says: “My joy and delight may be in you.”

That means His own joy is placed inside us. And that changes everything.

What’s so beautiful is that this isn’t only spiritually true - it’s physically true too. Science continues to show what Scripture has been telling us all along: true joy supports our health. Genuine joy and positive emotions are linked to lower inflammation, stronger immunity, better heart health, and greater resilience. God designed our bodies to flourish when our hearts are anchored in Him.

It even reminds me of the movie Inside Out. When Joy is present, she brings light, clarity, and hope. When you see Joy as Jesus - steady, present, unshaken - it all makes sense.

Flourishing starts there.

From Him. Through Him. For Him.
